Sketches from Hakone is a serene, transportive new EP from Japanese producer and trumpetist konb, written during a retreat to the mountain town of Hakone and its traditional onsen baths. The project captures the quiet clarity that comes from stepping away from the noise of everyday life and immersing yourself in nature, steam, and stillness.

Across the EP, konb blends warm flugelhorn lines, gentle jazz textures, and subtle rhythmic elements to evoke the feeling of slow mornings, misty mountain views, and peaceful walks through small hot spring towns.
