Borealism is the project of young producer and composer Peik Wahl based out of Spokane, Washington. Growing up and living in the North West of America, Peik has been in touch with nature since the youngest age. His music is deeply influenced by the elements and the essence of nature that he draws from forests and mountains separating Washington and British Columbia. His major musical influences are to name a few Boards of Canada, Shlohmo, Teebs, Flying Lotus and Bonobo.
He started playing music at the age of 10 with the trombone. And picked a few more instruments through high school playing in jazz and symphonic bands. He started writing his own music at 18 when a friend gave him a copy of FL studio.
Later on he shared and expressed his emotions with the Borealism project where he could communicate something special and unique to him. As the name is an homage to the geographical biome he calls home.
